Easy Flip mold
« on: October 20, 2012, 08:14:33 AM »
Using two, same sized, random drilled, buckets i made an easy turn over mold. For brie or whatever kind of cheese. Two round cheese draining mats, and a cheesecloth complete the mold.
It has a 20cm diameter. The two buckets fit in each other.
So, in go's one cheesemat next (optional) the cheesecloth, the curds, cheesemat, and on top the next bucket. :P

The easy Flip?

Hee, Gebaxke, nice to see you here too. This forum is much more alive than the "Gilde der kaasmakers". Already found more info about buffalo milk?
I also use some homemade moulds, although sometimes it's better to use original moulds, because they are designed to have the right draining speed for the particular type of cheese they are made for.
