Jaybee Pasteurizer/vat versus Microdairy Pasteurizer/vat
« on: December 11, 2012, 03:10:35 PM »
I heard lots of good review about the Microdairy system pasteurizer in this forum... not sure if anyone can share their experience with the JayBee one?

Many thanks!

The biggest difference I can see is the inlet valve. The Microdairy does not have one. They can be VERY expensive.
I have the Microdairy vat. I do not need the valve. I pour my milk into the vat and scoop the curds out.
I guess if you are piping milk from barn to vat the valve is needed.
I can not find a price for the Jaybee bit the microdairy was $12,000.00 last year.

I think the Jaybee one is about $16,000 for the 15 Gallon one...

I am not planning to set up a sophisticated system to 'transfer' the milk yet....
