Cheese lover from London, UK!

Hi Everyone!

I've just found this forum and it is brilliant! There is so much info on here, so hello everyone!!

I have always loved a bit of cheese but always tended to stick to what I knew, so this year it's different. Forget all those New Years resolutions about losing weight, mine is to eat more cheese!! As many different varieties as I can, from as many countries as possible.

In case anyone is interesting in following along my cheese-based adventures this year I have created a blog about it which you can read here:

http://itsallaboutcheese.wordpress.com/

All comments, suggestions and feedback welcome! I've literally just started - so please follow me, within 15 mins of finding this site I've already got so many ideas about new cheeses and blog posts I'd like to do, and if any of you are also in London, UK then get in touch and tell me about your favourite cheeses and cheesemongers (if that's allowed).

Thanks, David

Welcome from the other side of the North Sea, The Netherlands, neighborhood of Gouda. Last time I was in London, a couple of years ago for a seminar, there was a small market with artisan products near to the hotel. I'm still regretting the fact that I didn't buy some cheese there....

Hi Herman,

I wonder which market that was. We are lucky in that London now has lots of great markets and many good cheese sellers at them. I'm going to try and work my way around as many of them as I can so please do sign up to the blog! Hopefully soon I shall do a blog on Gouda too as a friend has recommended a particular type to me that is supposed to be amazing.

Thanks, David

Hi everyone,

I just returned from a great trip to Boston where I managed to try a few different local cheeses. They were all fantastic.

A nice shout out from the American Cheese Society for the blog write up too.

Come and join the fun!
