It does look scary on the outside...like a monkey pull-apart bread. ;)

Inside...nice and creamy. Good job. A cheese to you for surprising yourself with such a delight.

When i show this kind of cheese to my wife she would tell " throw away that ugly rotten smelling thing" obviously she as being Thai is not used to such cheese (or any cheese at all) .

This cheese aged well now and it really is yummy and creamy ... having claimed a room at our House just for cheese(& sausage/ham) making now i can make more cheese too :-)

I would think this cheese could look a lot less mean if i'd scrape the rind....but i like the mean look and i find the rind very tasty too like that .

Sailor would wholeheartedly approve of the rind, I'm sure.

Perhaps your wife just needs a little time to ease into your cheese passion. ;)  Maybe with it cooked in some dish?
