Where can I get a 12-inch hoop? I would prefer to get stainless steel. Used would be ok.

thanks

I am thinking of implementing my own little stimulus program here in Cleveland by contracting with a local metal shop to have them fabricate a couple hoops for me.

2 questions:
How tall? (I plan on about 12 in tall)
perforated? (I plan on one with and one without)

I'm all for your Cleveland mini Economic Stimulus Plan, we definitely need it. But another cheaper option is as someone else said in a post, just cutting the bottom off of an old stainless steel saucepan/stockpot . . . an oval one would give your cheese more character ;D.

yes, actually I thought of cutting the bottom off a pan. But I would be interested in what the metal guy would charge for a non-perfed one. 12-inch tall would be ok. You can always notch the bottom rim with a hack saw and/or drill some 1/8 inch holes along the sides.
