1st Cheese, a Caerphilly
« on: August 11, 2013, 08:35:52 PM »
With the help of one of my good friends I made my first cheese, a Caerphilly. She had read on here about how good it was so she invited me and a friend over, and it was so much fun! I can't wait till it's ready. I've wanted to make cheese for some time now but was afraid to make it without some help. Well it was great and I plan on making more cheese soon! I posted a pic of the cheese after it was done in the press, I'm so proud of it. This site is great with tons of info. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

Welcome to the board!  That's a fantastic looking first cheese.  Well done.  And, here's a first cheese to go along with your first cheese!  Don't forget to post again when you taste it.

Welcome to the forum.

Tammy has been doing good things here. With this sweet-looking first cheese, it seems like you'll do well. Congrats! :)

Let's ferment something!
Bread, beer, wine, cheese...it's all good.
