Yeah, I have friends who buy milk through the local co-op and pay about $6 a gallon, and it is pastuerized. They would prefer raw and have tasted the milk from my cow. I'm researching cow shares and the legality of them in Wisconsin, in the hopes that we can work something out for our next lactation, which will start in June. It would sure help to pay the feed bill!
I skim my milk before making yogurt, as I use the cream to make butter. Seems like I never have enough of that!
