Palette Cleanser Between Butters
« on: December 26, 2015, 11:03:11 PM »
I'm organizing a butter tasting for farm made and commercially made butters in my area and am wondering what might be a good palette cleanser for in between.  Sadly, beer or wine won't do.  And people tasting may have some food restrictions like gluten, etc.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  I'm thinking something like Kombucha??

Thanks for your wisdom!

How about saltine crackers and a little mineral water?  Seriously, I'm serious.  ;)

I'd be good with either.  I'm thinking the soda water may be the best choice.....maybe with some citrus?

Thanks!

Have you ever served the butter with radish slices and sea salt? Maybe it's too much of a California thing ..but different and pretty

Gin and tonic works swell.  Use Tanqueray. LOL

I have my cheeses with kombucha. I second ferment my kombucha with fruits to match my cheeses.
