Hello from coastal Texas
« on: February 15, 2016, 08:05:38 PM »
Hi,
I recently started making kefir and I think I made a logical progression towards making cheeses from there.
I have many many questions and an not the brightest bulb in the string nor the sharpest knife in the drawer, but I manage.
Hope I can help as well.
Mike

Hi Mike and Welcome to the forum.  There are NO silly question - well maybe a few :) but There are many here who can help.  I'm just starting the Kefir journey but if you are really keen there is an interesting book by David Asher - The Art of Natural Cheese making.  He uses nothing but Kefir and raw milk, so if that is where you are heading then I think its well worth a read - Its a bit political and he repeats the Raw milk and 'Big Dairy' song a bit much but his hearts in the right place..

Again welcome aboard and look forward to seeing how your cheese making with Kefir goes :)
