Looking for a curd cutter
« on: November 03, 2016, 05:56:12 PM »
Hi there...

I'm looking for horisontal curd cutters...

I live in Denmark so preferably delivered from Europe due to import taxes if from outside th EU. If buying from outside EU each parcel can't contain a value of more than $12 to be tax free...

I use rectangular pans up to 24 litres (6.34 us gallons).

I know of http://www.perfect-cheese.com/curd-cutters but my pans are 8" deep (not 6") and there will be a lot of import taxes from the US.

Does anyone know where I can get a good (not too expensive) solution?

:-) Danbo

Hey Danbo,

I have had a really hard time finding a horizontal cutter myself, but I will say that I wrote to Perfect Cheese and asked for a cutter with a size that they didn't show and John the owner was willing to customize it. I'm wondering if he was capable of welding two cutters together to give you one that is bigger than 8" but would cut what you had.

Just a thought. I've hunted up and down and have had very little luck.

Thanks!

I've spend hours trying to find a solution. I've also tried to make my own with no great success.

I think that I will contact Perfect Cheese and ask for a custom build one...
