Made my own mold
« on: January 08, 2017, 08:24:08 AM »
I was frustrated last time I made a soft cheese that my largest mold was not big enough to fit all of the curds in at one time and so I took matters in to my own hands. The pictures are pretty self explanatory. Originally I wanted to use the top of the protein bottle as the follower so I would have cool rounded edges like someone else on this forum  :o (The cheese does have rounded edges actually just not as extreme as I hoped), but I found out there would need to be a ton of tweaking to get that pipe dream to work. However, the mold did end up working wonders and produced a good looking cheese (The cheese does have rounded edges actually just not as extreme as I hoped).
