Back in the cheese making saddle, again
« on: January 01, 2018, 03:03:52 AM »
Hello again. For Christmas I received "Artisan Cheese Making at Home" by Mary Karlin. I guess that one of my relatives thought I needed it. I haven't made cheese in about a year. Life can get so very busy. Two years ago I wrote a song called "Cheese Blues" and when the relative in question heard it, she thought of this present. OK, so now I'm promising myself to get back into the cheese making gig. Oh, and buy a pH meter like Scasnerkay suggested a few years ago. Tomorrow, chapter 3: Intermediate cheese making - farmhouse chive cheddar. Wish me luck!
