real cheese slices

Hi All,

I am hoping to make cheese slices from a cheese that doesn't need much aging.  I really do not want to make processed plastic cheese but I would like one that is a consistenty that is easy to slice and has some flavour.  If you can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. or does anyone know of  a recipe to make processed cheese.  Thanks friends.

Have you tried Buttercase (sometimes spelled Butterkase)?  I think it would fit the bill.

Somewhere, some long time ago, milk decided to reach toward immortality… and to call itself cheese.
