While recently on holiday in Italy, I took several pictures of cheeses in stores and at markets including these of Pecorino's in second store of small hilltop fortress town called Pienza, in Tuscany.

Pecora is Italian for derived from sheep and Pecorino is the name of a family of hard Italian cheeses made from sheep milk. Pecorino Romano is most popular in US.

Thought people on this board would like them as several here making these types of cheeses and could give them some ideas.

Pecorino Crudo (raw milk Pecorino).

Pecorino Fresco Semio Conservanti, (fresh Pecorino, partly conserved?).

Pecorino Al Pepe, Alli Noce, and Al Peperoncino (Pecorino with Pepper, with nuts?, and with Peppers).

Pecorino Alla Rucola, Al Tartufo, and Al Tartufo Stagionato (Pecorino with argula, with Truffles, and aged with Truffles).

Pecorino Conservato Nelle Fogli De Alloro E Cenere Semi Conservanti (Pecorino with Bay? Leaves and Ash).

Pecorino Semi-Stagionato Semio Conservanti (partly aged Pecorino).

Pecorino Stagionato (aged Pecorino).

Pecorino Stagionato In Grotta and Vecchio (aged in Cave and old? Pecorino).

Pecorino Stagionato Nel Fieno Vecchio and Stagionato Nel Fieno (aged in old hay Pecorino, aged in hay Pecorino).
