Also from Pa

How excited i am to find a cheese forum. I am a true newbie. I have never made cheese of any kind, but have wanted to so badly.I have been reading some about it, but still am  confused on some things.
Hopefully i will learn from all of you.
My hubby and I are trying to be as self reliant as we can. Learning how to make things on our own. I currently make my own laundry soap, and now possibly cheese, with butter, and maybe candles to follow.
We have 23 laying hens, and have been searching out info. on goats.
We have a large garden for our vegetables, and we are planting berry bushes for fruit.
Im excited about our new adventures.
Glad to be a part of this forum.
