My friend Purification told me about this recipe and I want to share it with all of you.
Here it is:
Take queso blanco, she says El Venadito (from Publics, Sedano's, Winn-Dixie) is the best kind because it won't fall apart when cooked. Slice it in about 1/8 inch slices, fry in non-stick pan, no butter or oil, until golden brown and crispy on both sides. Top with guava paste.
Apparently, people in the Caribbean love this treat. I can't wait to try it.
