Humidity Thermometer

I was looking for humidity registering thermometers for my caves.

Does anyone use the analog jobs?  They are only $10 from Wal•Mart.
Any reason they wouldn't work?  I note everyone has fab digital models for 3x the price.

IMHO, They are not really that accurate above 70%RH

I bought 3 of them once, and put them all in the same cave. They were all over the map.

Uh-oh, I just ordered this one as I don't trust my digital one and couldn't see one in our local Wal-Mart. Negative reviews were that colour on dial faded in sun, shouldn't be a problem in dark cave.

Unfortunately it only goes up to 90%, but it is $9.44.
$9.44 for something inaccurate is too much.

I use one of each. One digetal and one analog. They stay to within a few degrees of eachother and can be calibrated if I wanted to.

I use the same method.  I have 3 meters,  2 analog and one digital.
I take an average.

Inexpensive ones can be found at pet stores, in the reptile/hermit crab section, in case Wal-Mart doesn't have any.
