Did another Muenster for my son Eddie
« on: November 01, 2009, 05:45:18 PM »
My son loves this stuff with or without the b.linens. I will try Francois and Alex's sgestions with my last little bit of b.linens and see how it goes just for the color factor. This was a 7 gallon batch. I decided to try my new tomme mold.

I though halloween was a good day to make Muenster for some reason ...  ;D

You have been busy, and another great cheese.  Still envious of that great pressing.

Muenster doesn't really get pressed it presses under it's own weight. I put a 1 pint mason jar on it just to make the top flat but that's it. You can see where the 2 squares merged after a few hours draining.
