Cheese cake

I made this yesterday with the fresh cream cheese that I made.  Just to ensure that it didn't curdle I did eveything by hand.

8oz chocolate biscuits (not chocolate coated)
4oz melted butter
handful chocolate drops (optional)

8oz cream cheese
1 cup fine (castor) sugar
1 1/2 tblsp gelatine disolved per instructions.
300ml cream.  (1 cup is 250 ml)
1 passionfruit

Crush biscuits and combine well with melted butter.  Press into a springform pan.  Sprinkle choc bit over the top and press into biscuits.  Put in the fridge

Put the cream cheese and sugar into a bowl, and using the back of a spoon gradually work in the sugar.  Add just warm gelatine and combine gently.  In another bowl whip cream until soft peaks are just forming.  Gently fold into cheese mixture along with the passionfruit until combined.  Pour into biscuit base and leave in the fridge for 3-4 hours.

Enjoy.

That sounds and looks great!

What do you mean by 8oz chocolate biscuits (not chocolate coated)?  Would that be unsweetened chocolate that comes sort of like candy bars?  We must have different translations a world apart. ;D

I don't have a clue what you are talking about either Dagger.

They would be like a graham cracker but with cocoa in them. That texture and style of biscuit.  Not necessarily that exactly.

I'll see if I can post a pic of them for you.
