Well, I was scoping out sausage making, and stumbled on cheese. Doggone it, now I have another thing to try!
I'm Mike, living in middle Tennessee. I'm a tinkerer and always up to something. I've been making venison summer sausages & jerky for quite a while and just built a big smoker to experiment with hard salami, ham & bacon.
I also built a greenhouse & planted greens just before Thanksgiving. Everything sprouted and is growing!
As to cheese, I made a quick ricotta from a different website and then got looking at cheese presses, which led me here. I'm excited about the possibility of making my own sausage, cheese, and a beer to go with it.
Other things on my list include leatherwork, trying to complete a 5-year old project to restore/customize my old 1970 Ford pickup, and HAM radio.
