I would suggest the use of a PID instead of a ranco or love controller. The latter are very much like simple thermostats that can easily over/undershoot your desired temp. I my automated brewery I used two of these:

They have an auto-tune function so you can train the controller to strike and maintain your exact temperature. I'm not suggesting this is for the electrically challenged. The PIDs controls SSRs that supply the power to the electric elements.
