Manchego made it to the Party--Ole!

Cut this one at the party, as well--it paired beautifully with an orange-fig spread--none left, darn.
Darn, another cheese meltdown--ahh, perfect fondue.

Beautiful cheese hon. Is that jar the orange-fig spread? Never had that did you make it?

Thanks Deb--yes that is the orange fig spread that I bought, but if I had some fresh figs I would make a huge batch. Have any recipes using dried figs? It was great with the Manchego.

Can't help you with that one Brie. I have been trying to buy fresh figs here for sometime and can't find any.

as for dried figs here is a pretty good one maybe your could mod the recipe.

My aunt used to go to Italy every few years when I was a kid and they brought back a fig jam or marmalade that was wonderful. I think it was called fishey or something like that. I'll have to try to research it. Right now I should be in bed! LOL
