How much home made mesophilic for 2 L of milk ?

I've kept my home made meso starter in an ice cubes tray... How much should put please, for 2 L of milk ? 1 cube or 2 cubes (the cubes are 30 ml or so...)

If I have this right 2 liters is about 1/2 gallon so I would use 1 cube.
