Is there a list of regulations for cheese making by State, comparing each states regulations in relation to others?
Which States are most cheese making friendly, which are the most strict and cumbersome?

hey!! I was going to ask the same ... Utah requires health dept. inspection and certification of kitchen and I think the barn/milking area as well, to sell...but nothing required for personal consumption...same for selling milk..or making beer.
Probably the same in most states. Was going to look into the grey area of bartering (does that count as a sale?) and/or giving away as gifts.
hmmm....
