Awareness soaps.
« on: October 18, 2010, 08:56:02 PM »
Not sure what the US is doing, but here in Aussieland, it is Breast Cancer Awareness time.  A friend of my eldest daughter runs a large morning tea every year to raise funds, and here are some of the soaps that I have made for the morning.
Still playing around with the pink colour of the ribbon, but I think I just about have that worked out.

they look great. The girls at my work asked me yesterday if I could make pink camambert's (not enough maturation time though). But I did say that I could make pink cream cheese. They also loved the soaps you made too. Well done. by the way how did you make the ribbons? Ken

The soap mould that I have has the ribbon included.  Just pour the ribbon first in the colour that you want, let set, then pour the rest of the soap.

You can get the ribbon as a separate mould, and then add to the top of a soap.
