Howdy Ya'all.

Just wanted to drop by and do the introduction thing.

My name is Vito and I'm a Cheeseaholic.

I'm really just a foody at heart and love good food.  I tend to dive deep into a type of food or an item for a time, then move along to another one.

I have wanted to make cheese for many many years, but was to afraid of messing it up.  I guess the funny thing is a bad batch would only cost me 5$..  So I guess I should have jumped in some time ago.

None the less.. I have..
My first attempt was making a mozzarella with a friend of mine showing me how. I was pretty impressed with that so this weekend I dove into attempting feta.  I posted pictures of that in the Feta section.

I live in North East Oklahoma, North of Tulsa.  Any one that happens to be in the area and would not mind a lookyloo, Please let me know.  I would love to watch someone that has made more variates show me the ropes.

Thanks for having a huge Forum..  Looks like I will be very busy with the search button.

Let's ferment something!
Bread, beer, wine, cheese...it's all good.

Welcome Vito, congrats on Moz, many including me find it difficult.

FYI and for others, if you want you can change your viewable name from your default signin name to Vito or something, there's a How To in the FAQ section if you get stuck.

Welcome Vito -

Glad to hear you had a success with mozzarella. Many people seem to have problems with it for some reason. I will be looking for you feta! Enjoy the forum!
