Is there a prefered form in cheesemaking.  What are the recommendations out there between powder form or liquid solution.
Thanks

IMHO you should always use the liquid. However, you can buy it already made or make it yourself.

I'm no chemist, but there is a chemical reaction when dry calcium chloride is mixed with water. It gets very hot. Use liquid for your cheesemaking. Like Sailor says, buy it already made or make it yourself. I make up a convenient 16 oz plastic container and when I need a dose for a cheese make, it's right there handy.

Let's ferment something!
Bread, beer, wine, cheese...it's all good.
