Everyone,

I would like to buy 50 or 100 also.

I will keep track of who wants what and talk to whomever it is that sells them for a good price.

But first, Vic, who is it that sells them for 30-50 cents and how would I contact them.  Second, Vic,
you said they are sold by the pallet, how big is the pallet?

After Vic gets this information for me,  I will put something here about it.  Now, who wants what?

I have been in contact with a Chinese manufacturer that takes minimum pallet order of 3,000 but was willing to take 1,000. Still too much for me. It's a big hassle with the customs and all that nonsense. It's also sent in a ship which takes 2-3 months. Air freight makes it very expensive. It does become 1 to 6 cents per box in the 10,000 piece range order.

Steff,

Vic's message said that they come in pallets of 3000! I don't think we have enough
interested parties to order something that size.

But, did you get in touch with Steve at thecheesemaker.com?  If you haven't had time,
I can call also.  I have ordered many times from him.

Steve is very expensive.  The box can't cost more than the cheese it carries...

Yoav,

I don't think you read Steff's last post.  She thinks she can get them
maybe at 50 cents apiece from Steve.

If that's so, this is great.  In the meantime, a French manufacturer had just gotten back to me and will send me price list. they have an amazing selection, round, oval, square, rectangular, hexagon, hectagon, polygon, ring only, bottom only, ring with branding strip on top, micro crate, flat, tall, wide, narrow... Any combination of poplar, foil, cardboard and plastic you can imagine, with or without ventilation/view window. Gorgeous!  It will take a while for the samples to show and to get a good price but I think this is the long term solution.  I will post whatever I get from them here to see if anyone wants to order with me.

I'll wait a bit to see if Steff gets some info from Steve Shapson.  If she doesn't have any luck,
maybe we can 'gang up' on him....Joke

I have not heard from him but it is early here, 6am. I will call when it is an appropriate time in Wisconsin.

OK
.56 each. They come in boxes of 380 .
Forgot to ask if that included shipping.
I will find out.
I can order them if you come up to close to the number.
If you want them at that price send me a message.
We might get two boxes of 380.
I will need to charge shipping from here if I get and resend.

Super!!

I would like 50.  And Priority mail, which is what Steve uses, is relatively inexpensive.

Hold the presses.... this is suspicious. 380 count? That sounds like a box model I know. It is not wood but paper that looks like wood. Can we verify that these are made of 100 wood, either poplar or spruce?

If you want to wait about a week I may be able to get them or possibly even get a mix of sizes. Someone is checking the possibilities for me and should have an answer for me by Monday.
