I just called Steve.  The size we would order is 5 inches in diameter AND the sides are cardboard.

The top and bottom are wood.

Thoughts?

Yes, I know the box exactly. I really want a wood box. Presentation, ripening, stabilizing longer and baking possibilities are 4 good reasons. Can we wait until next week when I will get the sample from the French people? They are trying to arrange special pricing for me.

You are welcome Steff.  And that makes 3 that prefer wood.

Sounds like you're wheeling and dealing Yoav.  You get a gold star.
Let us know what you find out next week.

We can either order then or regroup and re-attack!

I got stuck at "baking possibilities". It is 8am and my stomach is craving baked camembert with garlic cloves... ok, back to my cereals :)

I would rather have all wood as well.

A gold star? Love it. Do you need the mailing address for it?  :P

Yes, waiting for some samples and price list. Also it looks like they have agreed to do a 350-400 quantity instead of their minimum 7,000.

Sorry, I have had some problem with the provider. They had ridiculous minimum orders so I am looking elsewhere
