nice! i see that your company is in Mindanao. Here in Manila its a lot of pain(or expensive) to have milk for cheesemaking. UHT milk which is readily available is no good though I read some adventurous cheese-addict students used it with Yakult as starter LOL!

It's very nice. Does it have a cool-down option for the milk at the end of pasteurization if you dont make cheese with it right away?
I am looking for a vat pasteurizer myself these days but unfortunately the legal requirement for the US is that it MUST have an Anderson type chart recorder

Least expensive you will find is the Microdairy one I have. Believe me I checked.
I thought of a steam jacketed kettle but to re fit the lid cost almost the same as the new unit so I went with new.

Steff, have you looked into this one?
http://bobwhitesystems.com/products-page/micro-dairy-processing-equipment/the-vat-15-and-30-gallon-vat-pasteurizer/
. What do you think? It's about the same price range as the one I saw in your farm.

I have but it was about $3000.00 more. It is because of the leak detection valve. A bit larger though.

What's the leak detection valve? Why would it leak? It's a large pot sleeve inside another larger pot really. You don't even have to connect it to any plumbing and can refill it manually.
Did they offer any lease option?

The leak detection valve is to pipe raw milk in to pasteurize it and once it is pasteurized no raw milk can get into the now pasteurized.
Mine has no such valve, I pour milk into it.
I do not think they have a lease option but you should ask Frank, he is very nice and easy to talk to. Tell him I sent you.
