about to start my first rennet cheese a simple cream cheese recipie found on here
1.8 mls milk
600 mls
100 buttermilk starter
3 mls renco rennet
now for the fun bit .........
well its now 3 hours later and i have done the mixin and heating ,i just looked at my "brew" and lo and behold a curd is formed i shall leave it alone now for the time in the recipe then look again
15 hours later a nice firm curd and smells like cream cheese
now just to wait and see
the range hood makes a fine cheese hanging place
been hanging for 12-14 hours no more drips ,now the tast test
final result was very pleaseing has quite a creamey flavour and the texture is firm yet spreadable
might add a bit of sweet chilli sauce to some
