what a cool idea! It reminds me of the designs pressed into cheeses that you see in Flemish paintings. I keep thinking about doing that to identify the type of cheese, maybe with changeable numbers for the date. What did you use?

Lol. Actually, it was a hotplate stand,but I "Accidentally" brobe the ball feet that held it up off.
I am busy building a foodgrade stainless steel cheese vat in order for me to make about 20kg of cheesa at once. The company cutting the steel uses plasma laser, I'm thinking of getting small cutouts of thecheese name together with my dairy's emblem (a stupid looking cow) lol, although I like the flower as well. As for the different colours, I just felt like doing that. The cheese is a bit tall to my taste, I prefer fatter, wider cheese, but that was the only mould left as I currently have cheese pressing in the others.

Cool! I've got a waterjet here at work; I can cut shapes like that out of stainless steel. I'm going to do that on my next cheese!
