Hey All,
Just thought I'd post this photo of a 19th century American cheese press. I hadn't seen this design before, and thought it might interest others too.

Very interesting... the bottom board is pulled up rather than the follower being pressed down. East coast? Or further west?

I'm not sure, but I saw another similar one that is currently located in Maine. It may be east coast.
