Yeah, those are pricey. Good thing EBAY has better deals. Within the last 10 minutes I bought 4 50-foot rolls of 8-inch bags (channel) for $65. I've got plenty of the 11-inch material already.

Anyway, if someone needs a larger bag and a method to seal it, I think this thread will give them a boost.

Hande's idea of cutting the corners and sealing them first is SO much simpler than my idea of pleating the bags.  I'm definitely changing my method!

I bought my 15" wide roll on EBay as well, but don't remember how much I paid for it.

I seldom need anything bigger than a 11 inch nag but when I do I just make the bag bigger y slicing down one side and doubling the bag. I found the PDF I did a few years ago. Hopefully this will help.
