I couldn't find a proper board to post these photos so decided to post here. These are the photos I took while travelling or vacationing.

Actually I smuggled enough cheese into the country so I don't need to make any for at least a month :-)
Compared to Canada those European cheeses are very very cheap, I would say 1/5. I bought 2 of 340 gr Coulommiers for only 2.49 Euros. Well expiry date was approaching but one has been consumed already and the other is in the freezer.
Oh la la :-)

Pardon me while I wipe up my drool....  :P

Wow, like pressing my nose up to the window of store after store!

I just bought some Saint Nectaire. I haven't opened it yet. (I don't know "why not".)

Thanks for that luscious trip through cheese heaven, Tan.

If I have something like that to share, I'll typically post in the Lounge.

Let's ferment something!
Bread, beer, wine, cheese...it's all good.

Yep, good thing it's supper time here!

Great pictures, what were you doing in Peru (please don't say what I think you are going to say).

No I did not go to Peru to see cheese stand chicks. You would never imagine but I was volunteering :-)
Seriously, there is a foot race (not food don't jump) in Chile repeating once every year. Actually it is an ultramarathon where crazy people running or walking in a desert for around 250 Km over a week period with their gear back packed. It is a self-supported race where only water is provided. Anyway if anybody is interested in getting more information here is the link: http://www.4deserts.com/
It s a life time experience even for volunteers and this was my second event after Sahara race in Egypt. As I said this race was in Chile (Atacama Desert) and I thought while going to South America I decided to pay a visit to Machu Picchu in Peru. This merchant market is in Cusco, closest airport to Machu Picchu. If anybody interested in Machu Picchu photos let me know as it is off-topic.

Yes, please post them in the Lounge. You'll see a number of "off-topic" subjects in the Lounge. I'd like to see the photos from your perspective.
