Hello from Nebraska
« on: January 30, 2009, 08:32:43 PM »
Hello everybody, have been sneaking around the forum for awhile and figured I had better join up or get out.

I have been in research mode for sometime regarding cheese and have decided to jump in and make some finally.  My wife says I have to many hobbies, so I am hoping for a few success right out of the gate to keep her interested and build on this hobby.

I am from right in the middle of the United States, in the chilly state of Nebraska, just North of Omaha if you are familiar with this part of the world.  Am looking forward to learning more about making cheese and sharing in some triumphs.

Hello Roo and welcome to the forum. Several people here have many hobbies but in some the cheesemaking bug runs strong ;D.

Like other new person, Mary from NH, as far as I know you are the first from Nebraska, so I also just added your state to our Listing of Member Locations :).

Sorry Wayne, didn't know that :), OK so I guess I should mean where you are, not from.

You're making milk come out of my nose. There should be a smily for that.

Welcome Roo.
You have found the best (by far) Cheese making site on the net.
Great people and great information can be found here.
I'm also from the midwest (Illinois) and since we share the same section of the country I'll only charge you half price for any adivce I can give you. Yeah, our former Governor taught us that everything valuable comes at a price.  ;D
I'm looking forward to hearing of your attempts at making cheese.
