The interview on Friday went very well. I've heard from both of my previous dairy employers that they had been contacted and gave positive reviews. I got an email this morning that they needed a couple days to make a decision. I am on the edge of my seat! I am ever so hopeful! I really want to stay in California, for the scenery, not the politics or cost of living, as I am a native. This dairy would be like a home coming as I used to live in the area. I'll keep you all posted. Keep the positive thoughts coming!

Hey All,
I'm happy to report I accepted a position with the Nicasio Cheese Company! What a relief, and what a great company! I am incredibly excited about this opportunity! Thank you all for your support!

Well done!  Congratulations!

And now I will have to google Nicasio to find out something about the cheese they make...

Well done, Brian! Looks like a great opportunity for you.

Their cheeses sound intriguing. Too bad they don't do mail order.  :(

I've never really been drawn to commercial cheese making, but I have to admit to being envious of you and your new employment.

Let's ferment something!
Bread, beer, wine, cheese...it's all good.

Thanks, B and B. It's still farmstead, Boofer. Only working with 300+ gallons at a time, which is about what I'm used to. Give me some time there and I'll see if I can work out some shipping.

I've found nothing but support from members here - it is the best community I've found online, to be honest.  So many people are having a tough time finding work, it is great to hear good news for a change!
