Tea (and others),
I thought you might want to take a look at the following link.
The description says: Kadova Style Mold with Liner and Follower. I don't know if these are original but they do look pretty nice.
Most have been selling in the $35.00 range and the seller will ship to Australia for less than$15.00.
Not cheap, but less than I've seen on the cheese making sites.
By the way....the auction is for TWO four inch molds, not just one.

Sheesh, that's a long address! I do believe I would do the old copy and paste on that one.
:-)

Okay, I just realized that these don't include the plastic mesh liner. They simply throw in a couple of pieces of fine cheese cloth.
Not a very good deal afterall.
Oh well.....

I also check ebay occasionally for cheese molds/hoops and have seen those ones come up fairly frequently, look nice except for the liner being cloth. I still don;t understand why Kadova Brand molds are soo expensive . . .

Those are these:

Look down the page to the Kadova molds, then look at the very bottom of them: Kadova STYLE molds without the liners: $14.75. This person on ebay is totally ripping people off.

Thanks Valereee for that. I have seen those moulds, but it is the whole Kadova mould system that I would like to trial. Having it's own built-in liner is just such a simple option over trying to smooth out a piece of cheesecloth while pressing.

And believe me, if I did live closer, I would have been over with your first offer.
The offer is what is the most important. Thankyou.
