To help instill safety at work we start every meeting with a short Safety Moment, sometimes just a discussion, sometimes a presentation, yesterday was a viewgraph pack on this event.

Pictures #3, people driving in panic and probably in smoke to try and escape, my Australian friend here who showed the slides said it was a combination of very hot dry conditions for 2 weeks and very hot 40 MPH dry wind off the interior desert that you couldn't out run and in many instances, couldn't out drive.

I'm not sure if everyone realises why the photo of the koala is so unique.  Koala's don't drink water, and in the wild they are also very aggressive.
