Title: International Cheese Culture Shipment?
Post by: youattec on March 18, 2015, 05:46:26 AM
I'm new to this forum. Based in Kyrgyzstan (from the US) and starting a cheese production business here. The milk in this country is totally organic, untouched and makes amazing cheese!

I'm looking for international shipment of cheese cultures (Chevre, meso., and other specialty cultures). Any ideas which companies will ship internationally with ice packs to ensure cultures arrive unspoiled after their long journey?

Any advice would be very appreciated!

Why not use freeze dried DVS (Direct Vat Set) cultures and avoid the frustration of trying get something shipped with special precautions to keep it viable?  DVS cultures last for a year or so after opening if they are sealed from air and moisture.  And they work!   ^-^
