Title: In Line Filter/Strainer for Bucket Milkers
Post by: cmharris6002 on February 06, 2010, 07:02:51 PM
I am thinking of switching to an in line filter. Do any of you use in line filtration? How do you like it? Any tips? I am set up with a bucket system, milking two goats at a time.

Thanks!
Christy

I started using one last year with my bucket milker and love it.  It saves time and is cleaner than straining milk in the open.  I got it from gilesdairyservice.com in Utah.  Good luck!  Cathy

Thanks Cathy! Welcome to the forum :)

Since I have Surge buckets I went ahead and ordered 2 inline filters (each with a box of free filters) from Caprine Supply and 4 Y's from parts Dpt. I haven't monkeyed it together yet but it looks like it will work great for my set up. Thanks for letting me know about Giles Dairy Service. I haven't heard of them before.

I am a little late, but I have two inline filters on our 4 goat milker. LOVE THEM!
