Title: what is the official camembert mold size
Post by: timkrav on November 05, 2013, 12:58:17 PM
Can someone please tell me what is the official camembert form\mold size that produces 250g cheese? And then what is the official size of the camembert?

I bought one for Camembert that is 9" but they come all the way down to 4.5".  Don't know of an official size though. :(

The 250 g cheese are made with 100mm moulds. That's a 4-inch mould. Most cheese equipment suppliers sell 100mm x 130mm (or 4" x 6") moulds that would be a close match.
