I've never been there and would love to go, thus I'd be happy to carry some down but suspect the delivery charge would be too much for your friend ;D.

Culture manufacturer CHR Hansen has an =4]office in Argentina (http://www.chr-hansen.com/contact/worldwide_locations?no_cache=1&tx_tcchrregional_pi1[region) who should be able to help your friend. I have some of their rennet (http://cheeseforum.org/forum/index.php/topic,773.msg12924.html#msg12924) in small retail package size that they said they made and sold in Brazil market, so maybe Argentina also?

Argentina has a fairly well developed dairy industry, you shouldn't have much problem.
Here is an e mail for a supplier in Argentina.
