Title: Farmers Cheese left out of fridge
Post by: joenobody on December 27, 2013, 05:38:45 PM
So, my in-laws bought us a nice size half wheel of Farmers cheese. After the many warning to put it and the leftovers in the fridge as soon as we got home (they are paranoid about food poisoning) my wife forgot to put the cheese up.

Is it going to be okay to eat after two days at room temp, or is it a lost cause. It looked like part of a whole wheel that has been halved and shrink wrapped. I know some cheeses are fine stored at room temp, but wasn't sure if the fact that it started out cold would matter. Any advice is appreciated.
