Title: Rennet - Room Temp Stored 3 Weeks, Impact?
Post by: lambs.are.cute on May 25, 2012, 03:49:34 PM
Hi,

I not thinking put my animal rennet in the cuboard and not the fridge for about three weeks. Will it still be good?

Thanks,

Yes, but if you can avoid it at all, please keep in fridge. It reduces the shelf life significantly to expose rennet to prolonged temperature abuses.

Thanks. It was just one of those dumb moments. I keep the cheese clothes in the cubbord and when I was cleaning up I put the extra cheese clothes away along with the rennet.
