Hey cheese lovers!!
Just made my first batch in my new cheese vat.
40 litres of cows milk.
was made so much easier having the Ph markers for rennet and draining etc, thanks to the postings here!!

Worked a treat!! I'm stoked.
Havent finished my stirrer bit yet so I had to do that by hand, but was a small price to pay for such a great result!!!

That's impressive! What kind of stirrer are you working on? My vat is only 25 ltr and I'm thinking about a IKA RW-18, that's a lab stirrer and should be enough for my vat.

I'ts a cows milk Fetta, and the stirrer Herman, is an adapted orange juicer machine. The type that you would push an orange or lemon half onto a spindle.
I took the motor out of the original body (was a weird shape) and fitted into a piece of PVC pipe. and wired an on/off switch into the vat console.
will post some pics so you can see what i mean...just need the bit for it.
