Title: Registration - Problem > How To

Not sure if this is the right place or not.
I referred a friend ti this site. She is trying to register but is having an issue.
This is what she said

Hey are you on this forum? I tried to register and where it asks what the forum is for I enter cheese, cheese making, cheeseforum.org but it wouldn't take anything?! So what am I doing wrong?

I have no idea what that means. If you go to http://cheeseforum.org/forum/index.php?action=register (http://cheeseforum.org/forum/index.php?action=register)   there's nothing about "what this forum is for"

just basic registration.

That data entry is just to type anything to reduce bots hacking the forum.

Normally if the software doesn't accept you it tells you why, ie User Name already used, email address already used, Gotcha funny characters incorrect. If all good it will tell you that it has sent you an email with link to click on to confirm.

Which error message is she getting?

I know this is an old thread, but there is someone else having trouble registering: /u/brparlier on Reddit is asking for help.  Not sure what the best thing to do is...
