Title: New York State Cheese Makers
Post by: DaggerDoggie on June 28, 2008, 04:23:24 PM
I found this site searching for something else.  What is interesting, is that four of the farm/cheesemakers are within a 1/2 hour of my house.  Some I drive by all the time and never knew they made cheese.  Worst of all, I have never seen or eaten any of it.  I need to open my eyes.  Many others are within two hours of here.

Wow, all this time they were just under your nose so to speak ;D ;D ;D.

None around here close to Houston that I've heard of. So now you have no excuse but to visit and learn and get ideas!

I'm sure don't mind that I added your link to CheeseForum.org's Links > Associations Webpage (http://cheeseforum.org/Links/Associations.htm).

The link is great.

They even give advise on starting your own dairy to make your own cheese...now that's way over the top.  Yet, if I had the time and money... :o ??? ::) :-\

I will be planning a visit to get some ideas on making cheese.  See what information they will give up.  If I learn anything, I will let you know.
