Title: Strawberry Goat Cheese Sorbet with Balsamic reduction
Post by: kdttocs on April 05, 2013, 05:49:33 PM
Goat cheese was homemade from a friend's goat.

20oz Fresh Strawberries, chopped , frozen
4oz Goat Cheese
.5oz sugar
1/2 cup orange juice

Blended in a Vitamix for instant sorbet

Makes about 4 servings of what's in the picture.

I already had the balsamic reduction so I don't recall the exact proportions, just sugar and balsamic and reduced extra long to make thick syrup.

When I make it again I may add some balsamic to the sorbet. The sorbet on it's own lacked a little needed acidity.
