Title: how can I intersperse text and photos?
Post by: Tiarella on December 21, 2012, 02:55:44 AM
I'd like to post a demo of how I do my shitake Brie and want to have photos with explanations at each photo and I haven't yet figured out how to do this.  I thought maybe it wasn't possible but some people seem to know how to do this.
When I look at the post panel above the text box there is an icon for inserting images but I can't figure out how to make it work.  I am used to making this type of thing work on blog posts, etc. but this has me stumped.  Please help?

Thanks!

Kathrin, first of all you must have a website or a place on the internet (or in the cloud, e.g. at Amazon S3) where you upload your images to.
When you have uploaded a picture you can insert it's URL (internet address) between the tags that you will get when you click on the button "Insert image".
This way you can contain your pictures into the text..

Aaaaah,  thank you for explaining, Herman.  I only have my websites and it may be too much of a pain to upload the photos I want to use.....especially with as many photos as I want to use for this post I'm working on.  I guess I can do almost the same thing by doing smaller posts with just a couple of photos each.

Just open a facebook account and upload them to that.
